re: Acid T1

With lightning and fire and frost down this weekend I want to focus on Acid T1. Some of you were with me on Saturday for the attempt and felt like some walk-through should be typed up for discussion and idea's.

Basics:

Trash pull 1: 4 twisted orcs, 2 twisted wargs
Trash pull 2: 3 twisted orcs, 3 twisted wargs

All mobs here have Adaptaion which means no locking down any mobs here. Also Wargs hit like massive trucks, when tanked normaly, when CC'ed they hit like Trains. So for now lets follow up with the idea of no CC on wargs.

Twisted orcs (83k): They are the ugly dudes that stand still in each room. They hit for a decent amount on a good day, and have the least amount of morale in the pulls. So we will be focusing our dps on these. There are several ways to do this across many walkthroughs so lets type up a couple idea's.

1. Cycle through CC on back to Orcs, starting with Instant Root, then mezz, then fear till dead. Focusing on DPS target first and our second tank grabs the extra and holds him.

2. If we have ample AOE dps (Champs) we can gather them up and just CC two at a time and hope that the two die at the same time (30-35 Seconds) then turn and do the same to other Orcs

Now onto the Wargs.

Many of the walkthroughs say, that Kiting them with the main tank is normaly seen as the best way to handel these adds, with hunters in Strength Stance using Quick Shot for the slow effect, Loremasters can also use the Sticky tar skill to apply a movement debuff out of the start. These are not considered CC and there for can be applied throughout the fight to help gain more distance. A cappy can also kite these or one of the wargs using the Threat mark, if he is taking dmg or the other tank is, In Harms Way and Last Stand can be applied to the captain to buy the Raid several crucial seconds.

And last but not least the lovely Slugs.

They spawn roughly 40-60 seconds into the fight and will continue to appear till we break combat. They DO apply a 360* AOE with majority of dmg dealt to the first person contacted. This is another time where a Captain can use In Harms way and or Shield of the Dunedain. But preferably the hunters or champs can just dps them down before any major dmg is delivered to group.

More to come stay tuned for Boss. Discuss ideas you may have.
